The Bible says in Matthew 6:24 that one of the the top competitors for our commitment to Jesus is money. Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things - but even more than that, to show we are dedicated to advancing the Gospel! By giving, we are being obedient to His Word which results in us being financially blessed. Then we use our blessings so that others may see our Wonderful Savior!
HOW WE GIVE
MISSIONS & EVANGELISM
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus gives us The Great Commission: to go into the the ENTIRE world and preach the gospel so that every person might recognize Jesus Christ as the Savior.
By partnering with missionaries and evangelists - individuals who travel full-time preaching the Gospel - we advance the message of Jesus around the world.
TITHES
A tithe - which just means "tenth" - is defined as the first 10% of a person's income before taxes or anything else comes out. Malachi 3 says that we are cheating God by withholding tithes, but if we do tithe, He will "pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in!" You can't outgive God!
You can set up recurring donations or give on a one-time basis.
